Watford FC have confirmed the signing of Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo on a season-long loan from Stoke City, with an option to buy.
The midfielder had his medical at the Vicarage Road yesterday after the Hornet reached agreement to sign him.
Since joining the Potters in June 2018, Etebo has also spent time on loan at Getafe and Galatasaray, appearing in the Europa League for the latter.
The 25-year-old becomes the fifth Nigerian on the payroll of Watford for the 2021-2022 season.
He will join his compatriot, William Troost-Ekong, Emmanuel Dennis , Isaac Success and Tom Dele-Bashiru at the club.
Etebo began his career in his home country with Warri Wolves before switching to Portuguese outfit Feirense in 2016.
