Esu blames Starlet’s first loss of the season on strikers Profligacy

Akwa starlet coach Caleb Esu has expressed regret and disappointment after the newly promoted NPFL side relinquished it unbeaten start to the league season following a 1-2 loss at home to Kano Pillars who have also been disappointing all season. 

Esu speaking in a chat with brila.net said the team had good enough chances go win the  game against Kano Pillars but for inability to convert the numerous scoring chances that came their way.
“I’m a very disappointed man, my strikers failed and allowed Kano Pillars pick maximum points from my own home ground in a game which they never even dreamt of getting one draw.
“What really played out, all the chances that we had my players especially my strikers failed to convert these chances.”
