Junior Lokosa will cheer his Esperance de Tunis teammates from Tunis or back home in Lagos when they commence their FIFA Club World Cup campaign this weekend.
Esperance were crowned CAF Champions League winners last season at the expense of Wydad Casablanca – and in controversial circumstances – in the first season of Lokosa with the club.
However, the former Kano Pillars man was not part of the 30-man squad that departed Tunis on Tuesday for Qatar.

The Player was yet to respond to Our requests for an interview as at the time of publishing.
What we do know though is that the Striker has been out action for several weeks and has not started the 2019-20 CAF Champions League campaign with the holders – and he remains contracted to the club through next season.
Esperance will get their CWC campaign underway against Al-Hilal in the second round, on Saturday, at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
