Leicester City manager, Enzo Maresca has confirmed striker Kelechi Iheanacho is once again eligible for selection after his return from representing Nigeria in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Iheanacho played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s journey to the final, scoring the winning penalty in the semi-final against South Africa.
However, despite his contributions, Nigeria fell short in the final match against the hosts, Ivory Coast.
Nonetheless, Iheanacho is now back with Leicester City and is in contention to feature for the Foxes in upcoming fixtures.
“He’s back,” confirmed Maresca to reporters on Friday, addressing inquiries about the Forward’s availability for selection.
