Enyimba’s Midfielder Cyril Olisema has lamented the lack of proper football training while locked down at home due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in the country.
The midfield engine room told www.brila.net exclusively that life has been difficult for him as he couldn’t get a proper training facility while on lockdown due to the pandemic covid19.
“It’s not easy at all, you know as a footballer if a season is on and there is a break- it looks somehow’, He said.
The former Akwa United midfielder also said it will be difficult for Enyimba to return to the amazing run that was on before the COVID19 break.
“It will be difficult for us to get back into that superb form, and It is really sad’,
“It is not everybody that can keep their match fitness level,’
“In almost two weeks, I have not been able to do real training, it’s just individual indoor training I have been doing, so I just pray they don’t come and tell us to start the league immediately.
“They need to give us time to come back to resume the League, because, looking at it two weeks break-in between season is like two months for a footballer, He concluded.
Olisema has a total of 19 appearances with 10 assist for his Aba-based side since joining them from Akwa United.
