Enyimba goalkeeper Olufemi Kayode has stated that the People’s Elephant will complete the double over Rivers united after Sunday’s 1-0 win in the first leg of the CAF Confederation cup playoff round handed them the slenderest of margin going into the second leg in Port Harcourt next week.
Kayode speaking in a chat with www.brila.net boasted that while Rivers may have seen the result as one easy to overturn, the team will be shocked in the second leg by Enyimba to seal qualification conveniently over the course of the two-legged fixtures.
“Truly we cannot be scared of Rivers because what we wanted is to get our home win first so whatever happens then, we are going to dig it out with them there and qualify. I’m very hopeful, very hopeful, the thing is that it’s not possible to net us thrice there or two times and it’s going to surprise everybody that we are going to go there and get a win.”
