Enyimba midfielder Austin Oladapo says he is “very happy” to recover from the injury that has kept him out for almost four weeks.
Oladapo suffered ankle injury in training back in December and missed the games against Abia Warriors and both leg of the CAF Champions League clash with Al-Merreikh.
However, the player returned to field against Wikki Tourists on Sunday and his presence helped Enyimba record their second league win of the season.
“I feel great to return, I have really missed playing football, it has being hard on me ever since I got injured, but thank God am back now,” He told brila.net.
The midfielder also admitted that it was difficult watching from the sidelines as the team struggle against Al-Merreikh.
“It was a very painful experience; when you know you can help, but you watch the team suffer.
“I watched both matches feeling very sad from the stand, but thank God I’m fine now and I will continue to give my best to help my team the best way I can,” said the player.
