Newly signed Enyimba player Omaka Anthony has stated that he joined the People’s Elephants because the Aba based Nigeria Professional Football League side presents a better chance of succeeding than other NPFL clubs.

Anthony who signed from Sunshine stars revealed that he had received offers from league winning side Plateau united as well as NPFL big spenders Rivers united but chose Enyimba because of their consistency in the NPFL as league contender and a brighter chance of continental glory beyond mere participation.
