Coach of Enyimba FC Fatai Osho has stated that the People’s Elephants were made to pay the price for being profligate following the Aba landlord’s 0-2 defeat in the hand of Oriental neighbour Heartland FC just 3 days after a pyrotechnic display in a 4-1 win against Algeria’s Paradou on continental duty.
Osho speaking in a chat gathered by www.brila.net rued his side’s missed penalty kick which came shortly before Heartland’s first goal and inability to convert myriad of other scoring chances that came their way in the course of the encounter.
“We were very wasteful, we could gave been up. We had a penalty and it was lost. Our response wasn’t the best, we dropped our heads after the miss, we could have continued from there and build our momentum, take initiative and the response was just not the best.”
