Enyimba FC boss Fatai Osho has stated that his side is not thinking of their CAF Confederation cup playoff round tie with Rivers united yet stressing that a serious league fixture against Plateau united which is next takes precedence for the People’s Elephant first before the continental fixture.
Osho speaking in a chat with brila.net after his team opened a clear three points lead on top of the NPFL table following Rivers united 2-1 defeat to Katsina united on Thursday stressed that staying top and consolidating on their NPFL position with the next league fixture is key first before the tie against Rivers.
“Let’s make it one at a time, it won’t be a nice thing to do if we are looking at the Confederation cup, we still have an NPFL match to play. I believe it should be a match to play at a time and along the way, we will think towards the task of playing Rivers united.”
