Enyimba FC club secretary Chukwudi Worgu has stated that the People’s Elephants are excited to have earned a continental ticket on the final day of the season after a very tumultuous campaign with the Aba land Lords almost missing out of the ticket for continental clubs Championship.
Worgu speaking in a chat with brila.net however expressed surprise at the ruling of the Nigeria Football Federation’s Disciplinary committee which in effect will see Enyimba drop down to third and a place in the CAF Confederation cup as against a second place finish and a CAF champions league ticket which the result seem to have given the team.
