Half an hour into their CAF Champions League first-leg qualifying round match, Nigeria’s champion Enyimba FC fell 1-0 to Rahimo and the Elephant never made it back up again.
Rahimo snatched a narrow 1-0 lead to take a first-leg advantage and will hope the East winds in the reverse fixture is favorable.
However, it wasn’t all smooth sailing for the host at the Stade du 4 Août in Ouagadougou, a game of two halves, but they held on to pick a very famous win over the two times Champions League winners.
FT | It’s a narrow loss for us here in Ouagadougou. Hoping to overturn the result in Aba.
