Enyimba’s goalkeeper and captain Ojo Olorunleke has left the club and joined Sudanese team Al Merrikh Omdurman.

The 28 year-old Nigeria International started his career at Sunshine Stars in 2019.

He then played for Abia Warriors for a year starting in August 2020.

In 2021, he moved to Enyimba and helped them win the Nigeria Professional Football League in the 2022-23 season.

Olorunleke also represented Nigeria in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), where the Super Eagles finished as runners-up.

He was recently called up for the team’s World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic.
