Super Eagles goalie and second choice shot-stopper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa has revealed that he can still have a glorious career like former shot-stopper of the Eagles, Vincent Enyeama, as all he needs to do is make sure he grabs his opportunity when called upon in the Eagles.
Ezenwa is currently playing second fiddle to Francis Uzoho for the Super Eagles of Nigeria as far as the goalkeeping position is concerned.
In a chat with brila.net, Ezenwa revealed that Enyeama has really affected his career as he learned so much from the former national team captain when he just joined the team.
“Like I always keep saying, I will surely take my chance when called upon by the manager
“Everyone prays for his opportunity to come, and when it comes, you just have to take it”
“Vincent Enyeama, someone I looked up to, my mentor, when I was coming up in this career. Am praying for the grace so it can happen to me just like it happened to him”.
“If that opportunity comes, I will take it and make good use of it, because it also involves being confident”.
