Enugu Rangers have climbed out of the relegation zone following their 2-0 victory over MFM FC on Thursday.
The match which originally kicked off on Wednesday was suspended at half time after heavy rains in Enugu forced a suspension of the game.
Chiamaka Madu had put Rangers in front on Wednesday before rain washed off play.
Rangers began play on Thursday on the front foot and won a penalty shortly after the restart.
Ifeanyi George dispatched the penalty effortlessly to hand the hosts a two-goal cushion.
Rangers thus moved up four places on the log and now occupy 14th spot with 39 points from 30 matches.
MFM remain in second place with 49 points from 30 matches.
