Nigeria will prepare for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia playing top friendlies; among them against England and the Czech Republic, and these will help vamp up the team’s confidence level according to Kenneth Omeruo.
The team resumes the first phase of camping on 22 May through till 30th May and will play DR Congo in a test game in between.
Friendlies against England and the Czech Republic will be part of the team’s second phase of camping from June 2nd; officially opening on June 3rd in Austria.
In a chat with Brila.net Omeruo also stated the Super Eagles players are determined and will take every game as they come.
‘These games will help our confidence level and we are focused on every game,’ he explained.
The Chelsea player also assured Nigerian football fans that the priceless World Cup trophy is within the reach of the team should Nigeria starts the campaign against Croatia on a positive note.
