Enefiok Udo-Obong is not happy for not participating in Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) Elections.
Sydney 2000 Olympic star Enefiok Udo-Obong has revealed that not being allowed to contest in running for the presidency of the Athletic Federation of Nigeria, upsets him.
The elections into the board was conducted yesterday June 13, but the former Nigerian sprinter who won a gold medal in the men’s 4x400m relay final in Sydney, had no opportunity to be voted into the AFN board.
Enefiok said: “I feel sad and upset due to the false grounds on which I was not allowed to participate in the elections even though I Know I’m highly qualified.
“There’s always another time, and I will work with those on board in order to make the sports better.
