Nigerian sprinter Emmanuel Ojeli capped off his season in impressive fashion by winning the men’s 200m at the Camerino meet in Italy.
Ojeli clocked a personal best of 20.56 seconds (+0.8 wind speed), securing the top spot in the race.
Italy’s Alessandro Galati finished second with a time of 21.85 seconds, while fellow Italian Massimiliano Cofone placed third, crossing the line in 21.97 seconds.
Ojeli has represented Nigeria in the African Games in Accra, the African Championships in Douala, and the Paris Olympic Games.
The season-ending victory will undoubtedly boost his confidence ahead of future competitions.
