El-Kanemi Warriors have called on their supporters to rally behind the team as they prepare to face Plateau United in a crucial matchday four fixture at the El-Kanemi Stadium this Sunday.
The club’s secretary, Alhaji Bura Mustapha, made the appeal during a meeting with the club’s supporters in Maiduguri, urging them to pray for the team’s success.
Mustapha also emphasized the importance of sportsmanship, encouraging fans to accept match results with calmness and grace, regardless of the outcome.
“We had an away draw in Enugu and a win in Lafia with no issues. We appeal to our fans to always accept the result of matches in good faith and calmness due to our genuine love and efforts to develop El-Kanemi Warriors and the game,” he stated.
El-Kanemi Warriors are aiming for a strong performance as they welcome Plateau United in this key NPFL encounter.
They impressed in their first game of the season with a draw goalless draw against defending champions, Rangers, they also beat Nasarawa United 4-3 in a 7-goal thriller in their last league game.
