El-kanemi coach Imama Amapakabo says his target for the forth coming season in the NPFL is top finishing position.
Imama joined the Maiduguri based club ahead of the new NPFL season following his fallout and eventual sack by Enugu Rangers.
El Kanemi were held to a 1-1 draw by Iwere United, a youth club in Warri Delta State, as part of the NPFL club’s preparation for the forth coming season.
Speaking after the game, Imama expressed optimism that the diversity in his team; with players of various nationalities, will be an added advantage and also add great value to the club.
The 2016 league champions is confident El Kanemi can push to win their first league title in 2017/18 season.
