El Kanemi Warriors have the quality to return to NPFL – Arikya

Nasarawa United assistant  coach Abubakar Arikya has revealed that El-kanemi Warriors have enough quality in their team to return back to NPFL.

El-kanemi Warriors, who lost to Nasarawa United 1-0 in the final of Ahlan preseason Cup, will be aiming to qualify back to the topflight league.

However, the assistant coach of Nasarawa United Abubakar Arikya has highlighted the strength of the Maiduguri based side.

”I saw a lot of quality in the El kanemi side, experienced players like Ishaya Anyu, Adesina Thomas, Rabiu Shehu and a host of others are with Baba Ganaru, one of the most respected coache’s in Nigeria”.

He went further by saying that they would have themselves to blame if they fail to top their group in the NNL.

”They have quality within their ranks and they will have themselves to blame if they fail to top their group come the end of the regular NNL season.”

El-kanemi Warriors will slug it out against the likes of Niger Tornadoes, Gombe United, Rarara FC, Kwara United, Real stars, Mighty jets and four others in group A2 for the only available return slot back to the topflight league.
