Former Super Eagles player Friday Ekpo has urged the team coaches and players to maintain their current qualifying standard and ease the pressure of trying to qualify for major championship ahead of the Super Eagles inconsequential final qualifier against Seychelles.
Ekpo said in a chat with www.brila.net that achieving this back to back makes it good for the team and Nigerians who wouldn’t have to be subjected to the pressure of permutations which Nigeria have most times had to result to in previous qualifying campaign.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles qualified for the 2019 AFCON after playing a 1-1 draw away to South Africa last year with a game to spare just same way they qualified for the 2018 FIFA world cup in Russia.
