Super Eagles CB William Troost-Ekong says the team is happy with the new players, and will do everything possible to make them feel comfortable.
Raphael Onyedika, Ebube Duru and Godwin Saviour are among the players invited by Coach Jose Peseiro for the international friendly game against Algeria.
Speaking to the NFF TV, Ekong says, the new players were received by the whole team, adding that they’ll be initiated as usual.
“The secret to our team is that there’s togetherness. We have experienced a lot in the last year, for the new guys they are welcome and they will have to do the initiation and singing still but the most important thing is that they are comfortable with us and they can show themselves on the pitch and contribute.”
The clash against Algeria will take place at the Oran Olympic Stadium next Tuesday, with kickoff set at 8 pm Nigerian time.
