Spanish club side Villarreal CF B have secured the services of Nigerian defender Ekerette Udom from Rivers United.
The 21 year-old signed a two-year contract with the Spanish outfit, with an option to extend for a further year.
Udom, who previously played for Vandrezzer FC, Nasarawa United, and Sunshine Stars, will be looking to make an impact at Villarreal CF B and potentially earn a promotion to the first team.
He hopes to follow in the footsteps of fellow Nigerian Samuel Chukwueze, who rose through the ranks at Villarreal before securing a move to AC Milan.
With his experience in the Nigerian league, Udom will aim to make a strong impression in Spanish football.
