Super Eagles midfielder Chidera Ejuke featured in Hertha Berlin’s league game against Europa League holders Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.
The winger was handed a starting berth, he played an important role as the team secured a hard fought draw.
Ejuke who signed for the club on loan from CSKA Moscow was one crucial to Hertha Berlin’s dangerous attack.
Ejuke was however replaced in the second half by German startlet Derry Lionel Scherhant.
It was his second game for the club, but is yet to contribute a goal or assist.
German winger Suat Serdar gave Berlin an ideal start to the game when he found the back of the net inside opening three minutes.
The visitors however fought their way back into the game, with the equalizer from Japanese international Daichi Kamada.
All efforts for both teams to grab the winner proved abortive as they share the point apiece.
The result means both sides are winless after two games. Hertha Berlin sit 14th on the log with a point while Frankfurt are just behind them tied on points.
