The Chief Executive Officer of Delta Queens, Henrrietta Ehiabor, has been rose-coloured that her team will have people on their feet, once they resume for the second round of the season.
The ‘Okowa Ladies’ former team manager disclosed that, she feels her side needs to be mentally strong and active if they are going to fulfill their dream of playing in the Super 4 this season.
From the Delta Queens side, there are a good deal of promises, but Ehiabor knows they must be thoroughly consistent if they are to have a victorious season.
“We started well with an away draw in Osogbo, we won Rivers Angels in Asaba and shockingly drew against FC Robo at home and we are just a point behind group leaders Rivers Angels”.
In her words to thenwfl.com, “At this moment, all we need to do is learn and improve mentally because we have a great squad and a good manager. You need to be consistent as a team. Week in week out, you need to keep wanting to pick maximum points both home and away”.
“The league is very competitive and demanding this season and we have to always be at our best to achieve our goal at the end of the season. Everyone here wants success. The players are ready for it, the technical crew and backroom staff eagerly await success and we shall keep working hard to achieve that”. She concluded.
