Former Super Eagles defender Sam Sodje has tipped the super eagles to win the 2019 African Cup of Nations holding in Egypt next month.
Sodje in a chat with brila.net said “unlike Egypt and Senegal that have exceptional players we are distinct with bunches of talents, if we can get our tactics right with the right attitude and mentality, the Super Eagles can win the nation’s cup” Sodje told brila.net
The super eagles camp is expected to kick start in Asaba Delta State of Nigeria on the 2nd of June 2019 with a test game against Zimbabwe before heading to Egypt where the competition will start properly from 21st of June to 15th of July 2019.
The Eagles are drawn in B alongside Madagascar, Guinea, and Burundi.
