Ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, Super Eagles and Stoke City midfielder, Etebo Oghenekaro has submitted that from now till June, every match for the national team is very important.
Senegalese Football Association president, Augustin Senghor has confirmed that the Terranga Lions will face three-time African champions, the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a friendly game ahead of the Cup of Nations, with Ghana and Zimbabwe also likely to come up against Gernot Rohr’s men.
Speaking with www.brila.net, Etebo hailed the passion and hunger displayed by his teammates as they always want to ensure they represent themselves and the country in a good light.
“Every game that we are going to play from now is very important, we need to prepare the team, I believe things will go well, friendly games till the main tournament, every game is important”.
