Rivers United boss Stanley Eguma has debunked the viral stories concerning the transfer of striker Rafiu Ishaq to a Slovenian side, Maribor.
Eguma who was angry spoke concerning the rumors in a chat with brila.net and said he cannot meddle in the player’s matters but the said player has been training with him at Rivers United to date so, so hearing he has been signed for one Maribo in a Slovenian club side is something that baffles him.
Rafiu scored 14 goals for Rivers United in the Nigeria Professional Football League last season.
