Austine Eguavoen says the Super Eagles must convert their chances if they want to triumph over the Ghananian counterparts in the final phase of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Speaking with the media on Monday evening, the Super Eagles technical adviser stated that, his team must respect the Black Stars, but can’t afford to throw away chances, like they did in the first meeting in Kumasi last Friday.
“Ghana played very well at home and we must give them their respect.”
“However they didn’t have any clear cut chance than we had . The only thing is we didn’t take these chances , so in the second leg that’s what we have to do. We must make every chance count.” He said.
The Super Eagles need an outright victory against the Black Stars to advance to the Qatar 2022 World Cup, while Black Stars needed a score draw.
The match will be played at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday.
