Coach Austine Eguavoen has urged the supporters to get behind the Super Eagles as they face Ghana for a place in 2022 FIFA World Cup in Abuja.
The Super Eagles will trade tackles with the Black Stars in the final leg of the FIFA World Cup qualification playoff later today in Abuja .
The three time African Champions held the Ghanaians to a goalless draw in Kumasi last Friday and need a victory at the home to boo their tickets to the World Cup.
On the part, the Ghanaians aren’t out of the contest and a victory or score draw can hand them the ticket at the expense of the Nigerians.
Speaking ahead of the tie, Eguavoen is said it’s going to be a difficult task, and charged Nigerians to get behind the team and give them, the necessary support.
“It’s going to be a difficult game, but I’m sure we will scale through.”
“Nigerians loves football and they know the game so well, so we want them to keep supporting and cheering the team. At the of the day, everyone will be happy.” He said.
The Super Eagles trashed Ghana 3-0 the last time they met in Nigeria.
