Edo Queens Draw Tough Opponents in CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers

Nigerian champions Edo Queens are set to face Hasaacas Ladies of Ghana, Burkina Faso’s Ominisport Etincelle, and Niger’s AS Garde Nationale in the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifier.

The draw for the competition was held at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, on Wednesday.

Edo Queens will be making their debut in the competition. The ladies secured their spot by winning the NWFL title in May under the guidance of coach Moses Aduku.

The CAF WCL qualifying tournament will be held from August 10 to 23 in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, at the Stade Félix Houphouët Boigny and Champroux Stadium.

The winner of the competition will go on to represent the zone in the CAF Women’s Champions League.
