by Tunde Williams

Head coach of Edo Queens football club Rolandson Udeh said bad officiating cost his side maximum points against Sunshine Queens on Wednesday.

Edo Queens and Sunshine Queens played out a goalless draw in an NWFL Premiership match in Akure.

Edo Queens found the back of the net in the 87th minute of the encounter, but tit was chalked off by the center Referee.

In his reaction to the his team performance, Udeh said lamented the level of officiating in the match as he believed the referees made many wrong calls.

“I commend my players for the good fight , its a tactical game that my team had in control and if there was a VAR at least two goals would have stood in favor of Edo Queens, but above all I’m satisfied with the outcome,” he told the media after the match.

With the result Edo Queens remain unbeaten after four league matches so far and have garnered 8 points from possible 12.
