Nigeria international forward, Edna Imade, continued her impressive goal-scoring run for Granada, leading her team to a 1-0 win over Madrid CFF in Spain’s top women’s football league on Saturday.
Imade scored the only goal of the match in the 19th minute, racing into the box and firing a right-footed shot past the keeper—just as she did in her previous match against Deportivo La Coruna.
The goal was the 24-year-old ninth in 13 league appearances for Granada, maintaining a blistering form that has seen her score in four consecutive games, including against Badalona, Levante, and Deportivo La Coruna.
With the win, Granada moved up to sixth place in the league with 19 points. They will next face Sevilla FC at home on December 21, 2024, looking to continue their strong momentum.
