Super Falcons’ Jennifer Echegini was among the goal scorers as Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Women secured a 4-0 victory over Le Mans in the Coupe de France quarter-final on Wednesday.
The former Juventus midfielder wasted no time in putting the visitors ahead, scoring in the 2nd minute to set the tone for PSG’s dominant display.
Korbin Albert doubled the lead in the 14th minute, while Grace Geyoro made it 3-0 before Romee Leuchter sealed the big win in the 76th minute.
Echegini, who has now scored two goals in this season’s Coupe de France campaign, was substituted in the 69th minute for Brennskag-Dorsin.
With the victory, PSG advanced to the semi-final, where they will face either Lille or Saint-Étienne.
Before that, they return to D1 Arkema action with a home fixture against Montpellier on February 15, 2025.
