Ebubu Duru joins Rivers United from Lobi Stars

Full-back Ebube Duru has completed his transfer to Rivers United ahead of 2020-2021 Nigeria Professional Football League Season.

The Home Based Super Eagles defender joined the Club from Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi following the expiration of his contract.

Duru signed a two year deal with Pride of Rivers and he’s expected to earn over six million Naira per season from the deal.

He spent four seasons at Lobi Stars and helped the qualify for CAF Champions League in the 2018-2019 Season.

Meanwhile, John Lazarus has also left Lobi Stars for Rivers United, after failing to extend his contract beyond last season.
