Mary Earps confidence in the England team is evident as they head into the round of 16 tie against Nigeria at the Women’s World Cup.
Earps said the Lionesses are not afraid of facing Nigeria and believe in their abilities to perform well.
England is one of the teams with 100% record in the competition, and yet to concede a goal from open play.
“Our qualities have shown through since we’ve been playing together. I think we’re in a good spot,” said Earps told BBC.
“I don’t think we fear anyone in general. I’m glad it happened for us [on Tuesday].
“It’s not going to always go that way but as long as we’re keeping the wins on the board, then there’s no complaints here.
Winner of the tie is guaranteed 90 thousand dollars per player.
