Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu has stated that the Super Eagles as part of the promise to each other have decided to come out with their A-game against Cameroon ahead of Saturday’s round of 16 clash between both perennial rivals.
Ogu speaking in a chat gathered by brila.net said the Eagles themselves feel like they haven’t given their best all along and said they are aware they can do more and this they intend to achieve by coming out tops at the expense of Cameroon on Saturday.
“We as players feel like we have not really given our best but we can really be proud that we made it past the group stage. Now we have a big game against Cameroon.
That’s what we are looking forward to, it’s not going to be easy. We had a meeting among ourselves and we talked to ourselves to come out with our A-game because the game is very important to Nigerians back home and we are looking forward to achieving this.”
