Super Eagles’ Team Coordinator, Patrick Pascal has insisted that the young Super Eagles’ World Cup experience has increased the team’s capacity despite crashing out in the early stages.
The Ex-international spoke to brila.net and stressed that he holds a different opinion on the team as he boasted that the experience gathered from the world cup stands them in a good position to face any team in the world without fear.
According to him, he believes that there’re lots of changes in the team and that they can win anything with a little bit of attitude & discipline going forward.
Meanwhile, defender Kenneth Omeruo has backed the Super Eagles to qualify for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations following their World Cup adventure.
Nigeria will resume qualifiers for next year’s AFCON when they face Seychelles away from home in September. The West African giants lost their first Group E match 2-0 at home to South Africa in June 2017.
Gernot Rohr’s side recently participated in the 2018 World Cup, where they exited after the group stage following losses to Croatia and Argentina.
