Super Eagles Team coordinator Patrick Pascal has stated that the players held meetings after the win over Guinea and are ready to postpone their jubilations till after they clinched the title.
Pascal in a chat with brila.net said the players have decided not to be carried away with jubilations after reaching the knock out stages of the AFCON because their focus is on the trophy.
”We are very happy because we won our two matches, that alone is a morale booster and it’s good for the team, the players knew they have qualified but right from the stadium after the game, they spoke to each other in the bus that they have gotten six points, but should shed that aside because the game is just starting ”
The Gernot Rohr-Led side will take on the Madagascar National team in their last group B clash on Sunday, 30th June at exactly 5 pm.
