Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer Alloy Agu has stated that he hopes the Nigeria senior national team the Super Eagles gets the luck of the draws ahead of today’s final draw process to determine the grouping of countries and order of play for the 24 participating nations.
Agu speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the hope is to gets it fair in the draw buy stressed that the Eagles will be ready to play whoever gets drawn in their path because beyond the draws, there will be further meetings of the so-called bigger countries in subsequent rounds which would be the teat and challenge for anyone who wants to be champion.
“Our prayer has always been that God should have his way in our team in the draws that the draw will be favourable.
“Eventually if we expect to be champion as we expect to be the champion. We must prepare to play every team no matter which group they are coming from.”
Nigeria’s Super Eagles will know it AFCON group stage foes later today for the first time since last featuring at the 2013 edition of the competition.
