Bryan Idowu was dropped to the bench and was an unused substitute for Lokomotiv Moscow on Saturday grinding out a 1-1 result against UFA.
Idowu, 27, has made only six league appearances this season and has sat out back to games since featuring in four straight games prior.
The defender, who recently earned a call up for Nigeria’s AFCON 2021 qualifiers this month, has only played 555 minutes in all competitions this season.
