Former Super Eagles and Reading defender, Samuel Sodje has stated that, it will be difficult for the national team to have a stable team in the shape of the 1994 squad.
Sodje told brila.net exclusively that Nigerian players are scattered all over the world right now and the players are very good which makes it extremely difficult for the coach to want to settle for a particular group of players as his first eleven.
”In 1994, we don’t have a lot of players abroad like we have it now, we have so many of them out there and they all deserve to be in the National team to play for the country.
“We won’t say we want just one particular team forever, any one we find good needs to be invited to play for the national team, I can’t say here that, the 1994 have it right by having just a group;
No, I think we have to appreciate the work Genort Rohr is doing right now, he really deserves some accolades, Sam Sodje said.
