Belgian-born striker Cyriel Dessers, expressed is desire his desire to represent the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of Belgium.
Dessers is the current leading scorer in the Dutch Eredivisie with Heracles, and he has attracted interest from both Nigeria and Belgium.
While reacting to being named the “Revelation of The Year Award”, at the first edition of The Ballers Award held on Sunday in Lagos, Dessers said he’s eager to team up with the Super Eagles.

“Hope to see you soon,” he wrote on his verified Twitter handle on Monday.
The player has previously revealed his decision to represent Nigeria after long discussion with Nigeria Football Federation president, Amaju Pinnick.
“After series of discussion with the NFF President, Amaju Pinnick, I have decided to fully commit myself to Nigeria and the Super Eagles and I am going to work to be part of the team and fight for more sucesss for the country.
“I am a proud Nigerian, and I can’t wait to fulfill my dream of wearing the green white green.”
Dessers who has a Nigerian Father and Belgian mother is eligible to play international football for both Belgium and Nigeria.
