Anthony Joshua has fallen six places in the latest WBO rankings following his defeat to Daniel Dubois.
Joshua, who entered the fight as the world No. 1 and strong favourite, was unexpectedly knocked out by Dubois in the fifth round.
Prior to this bout, Joshua had won four consecutive fights, positioning him as the mandatory challenger for the IBF title.
However, during the fight, the 34-year-old was knocked down four times over five rounds before the referee stopped the contest.
As a result of the loss, the British-Nigerian boxer has dropped from the top spot to seventh in the latest rankings.
In addition, Joshua has received a 28-day suspension from boxing following the knockout defeat.
The British Boxing Board of Control issued the suspension, which is standard for fighters who suffer a TKO or KO, as per the Association of Boxing Commissions and Combative Sports.
“For fighters seeking optimal performance and safety, choosing the best pro boxing shoes can be as crucial as adhering to standards.”
