D’Tigress will keep a positive mindset going to the Olympic qualifiers – Elonu

Captain of Nigeria’s women national basketball team Adaora Elonu has stated that the D’Tigress will keep a positive mindset ahead of the team’s convergence this weekend for the Olympic qualifying tournament which comes up next week in Belgrade.

Elonu speaking in a chat with brila.net said the Nigerian girls are anxious already and can’t wait to get the qualifiers out of the way and be certain of making the cut to play at the Tokyo Olympics games later this year.
“Every country want to qualify for the Olympics so it’s going to be a top battle especially with the USA already having the bid to the Olympics.
So that’s one less battle that we can compete for but I think the coaches are doing their best to get us organize before we get there so we will be able to compete and as far as the girls we’re anxious already we want to qualify for the Olympics so we’re going to keep a positive mindset so that we can get one of the bid and just go from there.”
