D’Tigress star Evelyne Akhator has stated that the preparation of Nigeria’s women basketball national team has been going on well and that everyone is set for the challenge and battle of competing again.
Akhator speaking in a chat with brila.net said the team won the last Afrobasket against all odds and and to this end want to use the fast approaching FIBA women Afrobasket to maintain their dominance on the continent as defending champion.
“We are just taking things as it comes, everything at a time. Preparation is going well and we want to do well again. Last time we won the Afrobasket for women against all odds and this time around we want to dominate and use this platform to showcase ourselves again.”
