D’Tigreses Power forward Murjanatu Musa has stated that the Nigeria women’s basketball national team is excited to have earn a quarter final spot after beating Egypt 83-65 points on Sunday to top Group D at the ongoing Afrobasket women’s Championship in Kigali, Rwanda having beaten Congo DR on Friday.
Musa speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said while the quarter final feat has been achieved, the team want to add more wins and do more albeit admits it won’t be easy.
Nigeria’s women’s national team will wait for the winner of the Mozambique vs Cote d’ivore clash for a quarter final match up on the 2nd of August 2023.
