Vice President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation Babatunde Ogunade has stated that the Nigeria Basketball National team will consolidate on its bright start to seal qualification in style ahead of the final Afrobasket 2021 qualifiers starting from today’s clash against South Sudan in Monastir, Tunisia.
Ogunade speaking in a chat with brila.net stressed that the team no doubt are in a good position already to qualify but will not take it matches with levity to ensure qualification as quickly as possible after three wins in three games in the previous qualifying window last year in Kigali, Rwanda.
“Yes the boys have delivered their wins three games, it puts us in a very vantage position, we don’t assume we don’t take our opponents for granted. Now our next game is our next game, the work looks easy but it’s never easy.”
