Dream Team VII Coach Imama Amapakabo has revealed that he has watched his side’s previous performance against Libya again and would be looking to correct some mistakes ahead of their clash against Sudan in the last round of the Olympic qualifier as they look to feature at the football event of Tokyo 2020.
The Dream Team VII defeated Libya over two legs in the last round and speaking to www.brila.net, coach Imama said he and his players are very optimistic, as they look to make sure they put everything in place before the doubleheader on the 5th and 11th of next month.
“The team is very optimistic, we have reviewed the tape against Libya and have seen that there are a lot things that we needed to have done that we didn’t do on the day in the first leg”,
“We are trying to see how we can dot our I’s and dot our t’s so the fact remains that we are very optimistic and very hopeful”
The current Sudanese side graduated from the U20 team that eliminated Nigeria U20 teams three years ago under the watch of Coach Emmanuel Amunike.
